It’s nearly been a year since I registered my domain and set up this site as part of my university course. So, over the next few weeks I’m going to change my site. It won’t be a gradual thing. One day you’ll come back and it’ll look different, and all the old content will be gone (*gasp!*). Well, not entirely, I’ll probably move this site and some of it’s content over to some sort of archive and start a new one.

We’ll see.

It describes a way of generating a ‘debut album’ for a band that you don’t have (though maybe it could inspire you to start one?).

1 - Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Random quotations: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

If you want to do this again, you’ll hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.

3 - Go to flickr’s “explore the last seven days” http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Put it all together, that’s your debut album.

The first time I tried I got, Navarre Beach, the last quote was “Be modest! It is the kind of pride least likely to offend.”, So I took the last 4 words (Least Likely To offend) and my image was this one (credit to the photographer, that is a lovely image). A few seconds in photoshop and I produce this:

Which I think comes together quite nicely. What do you think?
