Review Friday: Chinese Wispas

Okay, bad puns aside THE WISPAS ARE BACK!

Cadbury’s answer to the Aero, removed from our stores back in 2003 was re-released on the 8th of October in an initial run of 23 Million.

That’s only one for every 2 and a half people in the country. And I’ve eaten two!

Wispa

Taste wise, it’s like all Cadbury’s bars. Lovely. Except, it has a different texture, created by all the tiny bubbles.

The closest I’ve had is a Cadbury’s flake.

They can be purchased from BP garages, Londis and Superdrug.

MSRP is 42p, but Londis charge 50p.

If enough of them are bought Cadbury’s will reintroduce them permanently.

Pros

  • Chocolate
  • Retro

Cons

  • Price gouging newsagents

Summary

Buy a Wispa. Keep it. Own a piece of history, the relaunched Wispa.

Or you know… eat it.

Have a good weekend, and sorry for the short review I didn’t feel very inspired what with the lack of people even VISITING MY BLOG.
